These terms are for the benefit and protection of your pet and other pets in our care. Please read these terms carefully and check our website for the latest version. All Seasons Pet Resort Limited (All Seasons) will take every effort to make your pet’s stay a happy one and our care and attention will ensure your pet’s health, safety and welfare whilst in our care. However, all pets are placed in our care entirely at the owner’s risk as there are always some things beyond our control. Where we do have any reasonable concerns or have identified possible risks then we do reserve the right to refuse admission or remove your pet from our care.
1. Pet Behaviour
Please notify us of any problems or undesirable behaviours your pet may have. Any damage or extra cost incurred by us by you not advising us of known problems will be payable by the pet(s) owner. We reserve the right to decline our services and cancel any booking as of immediate effect, should we determined that any pet's behaviour could put our staff or the pet at risk of injury to themselves or others. Aggressive behaviour of any nature will not be tolerated.
2. Pet Health
All Seasons will take every possible precaution to ensure the health, safety and welfare of all pets in its care. We will take immediate action if a pet appears unwell either by consulting our own local vet or in some circumstances we may contact the pet’s usual vet for advice. All Seasons will require the pet owner to pay any vet costs we incur due to sickness, injury or unexpected death.
We also require that you advise us of any existing medical conditions your pet may have or treatment that it’s receiving. Any medication to be administered during your pet’s stay with us must be clearly detailed in writing and left in clearly marked containers.
Flea and worm treatments must be up to date on your pet’s arrival. If your pet requires further treatment whilst in our care, then you must supply us with the medication. If we administer any flea and worm treatment to your pet then this will be at our discretion and you agree to pay our costs for doing this.
3. Pet Vaccinations
Only pets with up-to-date vaccination certificates will be accepted. A copy of these must be presented on or before arrival.
Dogs must be fully inoculated against Distemper, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis, Parvovirus, Parainfluenza and Kennel Cough, and must have had a booster injection or vaccine within the previous twelve months prior to your pet’s arrival.
Cats must be fully inoculated against Feline leukaemia, Feline infectious enteritis, Feline viral rhinotracheitis (Feline Herpes Virus) and Feline calicivirus, and must have had a booster injection within the previous twelve months. Your pet must also have had flea treatment and been wormed within the past 28 days.
4. Grooming Services
By booking your pet(s) in with us for Grooming you agree to allow us to use equipment deemed necessary to complete the services required at our discretion. This includes a muzzle and other restraint devices all relative to the required services. We reserve the right to refuse any Grooming service within reason. In the event when your pet(s) become injured during Grooming we will take the necessary measures required to get your pet(s) the attention needed this includes the vet if necessary. Grooming and bath services will be provided to your pet at our discretion. However, All Seasons accepts no responsibility for any reaction any pet(s) may have to the products we use, unless you have advised us, in writing, of any skin conditions your pet(s) may have.
5. Bedding & Owner supplied food
All pets are provided with suitable bedding, however, should your pet prefer to bring their own bedding this must be in a clean condition and clearly labelled. We will endeavour to keep your pet’s personal belongings in good condition but all items are left at the pet owner’s risk.
Any raw food supplied will incur daily additional handling charges. During peak season any owner supplied food will incur daily handling charges.6
6. Medication
If your pet requires medication during their stay with us it must be supplied in a clearly marked container and instructions for administration must be emailed to us in advance of arrival date. We will take the utmost care of any prescription medication but will not be held responsible for any loss. During peak season all medications supplied will incur daily administration charges.
7. Drop off & Collection Times
Our normal office hours and Peak Season dates are set out on our website but we are closed Christmas Day, New Year’s Day, 2nd Jan and on Easter Sunday. All pets must be dropped off not less than 30 minutes before we close to give us time to settle them in. Our normal office hours are as follows:
Sunday to Friday — 8:00 AM to 5.00 PM
Saturday — 8:00 AM to 4.00 PM
Collection before 11.00 AM on the day of the agreed departure will incur a half day charge, collection after then will incur the full daily rate except over the Christmas/New Year period when we charge day-in and day-out for all days that your pet is booked to stay with us.
Should you be unable to collect your pet in person then you must notify us in advance and your representative must bring proof of identity and final payment before your pet will be released. If we are transporting your pet for any reason then we will take every possible care but accept no liability for loss or injury.
Doggy Day Care is available Monday to Friday inclusive but is unavailable on public holidays or during our Peak Season; although enquiries are still welcome.
8. Payment
You must pay for your pet(s) stay in full before we will release them to you. Payment by cash or EFTPOS is acceptable, we no loner accept cheques. Surcharges do apply on all Credit Card and Paywave transactions.
A discount may apply in certain circumstances, provided this is confirmed at the time of booking. Discounts are not available during our busy annual Peak Season or in addition to any other special offer or promotion. Special promotions may only be redeemed by the grantee. Public holiday surcharges apply and are subject to change.
9. Cancellation Policy
All deposits for Christmas/New Year bookings are non-refundable. During the busy Christmas/New Year period we charge for all days that your pet is booked to stay with us including the day in and day out, full balance payment is due on arrival date.
10. Abandonment
Pets left at All Seasons for 14 days in excess of the agreed date of departure without any contact from the pet’s owner or their representative will be classed as abandoned and removed to an official establishment for this purpose. It is the pet owner’s responsibility to ensure that they communicate any unexpected delays to us. Any outstanding accounts will be pursued in full and you agree to pay any collection and legal/enforcement costs we incur.
11. Sharing Kennels
During the Peak Season and busy periods pets may be required to share kennels and enclosures due to high demand. If we believe it is necessary to isolate your pet(s) for any reason, then this decision will be at our discretion.
12. Photography
All Seasons will occasionally take photographs of their kennels and cattery and these may be used for promotional purposes or to update you on how your pet is keeping. We reserve the right to use these images without payment of royalties and at our discretion, which may include our website, social media or in print.
13. Vehicles & Property
Pet owners should exercise care and caution whilst on our property and extend the usual courtesy to other pet owners and their pets especially when they are operating their vehicles, to ensure vehicles, pets or property are not harmed or lost. However, All Seasons accepts no responsibility for any such loss, harm or damage.
The legal stuff
Our privacy policy is quite straight-forward. We will never sell, lend, rent, disclose or otherwise release your personal information or any information relating to your communications with All Seasons Pet Resort to any third party.
